On Monday, June 29, 2026 at about 5:06 p.m., a ten-year-old male allegedly entered the Dollar Tree at 3243 Paxton Street, brandished a fixed-blade knife, threatened an employee and was subdued by other staff. One employee sustained multiple stab wounds and required medical treatment; the juvenile was charged with robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possessing an instrument of a crime and is being held in a secured detention facility pending court proceedings.
