12 charged in multi‑million‑dollar ring selling illegal THC products across Pennsylvania
Attorney General and Westmoreland County DA, with federal and local partners, charged 12 people after a long investigation into high‑potency THC and Delta products sold in stores statewide.
The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General and the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office, alongside federal, state and local partners, announced charges against 12 people accused of running a narcotics trafficking organization that sold illegal marijuana and high‑potency THC/Delta products in stores across the Commonwealth. Investigators seized about 150,000 items from three warehouse distribution hubs in Plum Borough, Pittston and Bensalem and say defendants laundered millions through LLC fronts; all 12 have been arraigned on charges including corrupt organization and dealing in proceeds of illegal activity. Officials say many seized products were packaged and flavored to attract children, and undercover buys and prior raids dating to a 2023 Murrysville search helped build the case.
