On June 30, 2026, at about 2:21 p.m., a CSX freight train of roughly 72 railcars experienced a derailment near the Neshaminy Falls station in Trevose, causing 13 cars near the rear to derail and overturn. Bensalem Township Department of Public Safety deployed drones and, with the Bucks County Hazardous Materials Response Team, assessed three cars displaying hazardous-material placards; officials confirmed there were no leaks and no injuries.
