14-Year-Old Arrested After Armed Robbery at Bensalem Gas Station
A 14-year-old Bensalem resident was arrested after threatening a gas station clerk with what appeared to be a handgun—later identified as an airsoft pistol—and taking a piece of candy.
At approximately 1:08 a.m. on July 17, 2026, a juvenile entered the Karco Gas Station at Street Road and High Avenue, demanded free merchandise, displayed what appeared to be a handgun and took a piece of candy. A Bensalem detective located a youth matching the clerk’s description on township cameras; officers arrested the 14-year-old at Cheltenham Drive and William Penn Drive. The weapon was an airsoft pistol; the juvenile was charged with felony robbery and transported to the Bucks County Youth Detention Center.
