The Lancaster Township Police Department, with Rep. Nikki Rivera and Rep. Ismail Smith‑Wade‑El, will host the 15th Annual Back to School Event Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM–4:00 PM at Penn Medicine Park. Open to K–8 students living in the School District of Lancaster, Manheim Township, Hempfield and Penn Manor, the event offers free haircuts, food, music, games and information on state programs; registration is required by 4:30 PM on Aug. 3, 2026.
