18-year-old arrested after biting, headbutting Palmer Township officer
Police say an 18-year-old bit and headbutted an officer after being found intoxicated on Nazareth Road; he was charged with aggravated assault and four other offenses.
On August 23, 2026 at about 1:00 AM, officers found Gavin Tyler Kish, 18, near Nazareth Rd/Crest Blvd in Palmer Township after observing him try to force entry into a parked vehicle and stagger away. Officers say Kish was intoxicated, belligerent, spat on officers, then headbutted and bit an officer; he was taken to the Palmer Township Police Department, arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Corpora and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $10,000.00 bail. He faces one count of aggravated assault (F2), one count of simple assault (M2), harassment, public drunkenness and a charge related to malt or brewed beverages.
