A 28-year-old content creator says she inherited a house in a 55+ community but the HOA is attempting to remove her because of her age; neighbors reportedly are being charged $1,000 each for legal fees tied to the effort.
A Florida woman says she’s being forced out of a home she inherited in a 55-plus community.
Bethany Michel, a 28-year-old content creator known on social media as @wubzgrubz, said she lives in Freedom at Arbor Mill, a community for older adults in Jacksonville. She inherited the home after her father died in 2023, but the homeowners association is trying to remove her because she is under 55.
