3 plants to avoid this fall

I wrote this column on the first day of October, with the outside world showing all the signs of autumn. The shiny leaves of poison ivy vines are now turning orange or red, making it easy to identify them from surrounding viny plants. Unfortunately, though, when their leaves fall off, it can be difficult differentiating these vines from others.
