On August 23, 2026 at 19:51, officers responded to 3950 Weldon Drive in Austell, Cobb County, where a 45-year-old man was found in the driveway with severe facial cuts and bleeding after an alleged physical altercation. The victim said the suspect — his wife’s 35-year-old brother — arrived after being told the victim had hit his 42-year-old sister and used his hands and fists to beat him; no weapons were reported and the suspect fled in a white Nissan Sentra. The victim was treated by Austell Fire Department personnel and transported by Puckett EMS to a local hospital; a BOLO was issued and the incident (case 26-080167) is under investigation.
