North Charleston detectives arrested a 48-year-old after a noon armed robbery at a Circle K; a replica firearm and evidence were recovered during a motel search.
Detectives with the North Charleston Police Department arrested 48-year-old Jason Cory Ogburn after an individual entered the Circle K on Ashley Phosphate Rd at approximately 12:14 p.m. on July 24, 2026, brandished a firearm and demanded cash. Ogburn was located at a nearby motel, apprehended without further incident, and detectives recovered evidence and a nearly indistinguishable replica firearm during a search warrant; he was charged with Armed Robbery and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and lodged at the Al Canon Detention Center.
