5 things to do this week at Lafayette
End-of-term events on campus and in Easton — from international percussion and vocal jazz to a high-intensity cycle class, Spring Fest, and Art Jam.

It’s hard to believe the last week of classes for the academic year has arrived. Amidst the chaos, take a moment for yourself and try something new on campus. Attend Spring Fest on the Quad to celebrate the end of classes or try a cycling workout class. Here’s a list of five fun things to do this week!
- Percussion Ensemble: Enjoy a night of music from around the world at the Lafayette Percussion Ensemble group performance. The show will include pieces from Japanese Taiko to jazz, and so much more. 8 p.m. Mon., May 4 • Williams Center for the Arts • MORE
- Cycle 45: Spin your anxiety away by signing up for a cycle class! The stationary bike class is high intensity with climbs and sprints as music plays, urging everyone to get moving. 4:45-5:30 p.m. Wed., May 6 • Kirby Sports Center • MORE
- Vocal Jazz: Cupcakes, Crystals, and Cool: Head down the hill into Easton for a casual evening of music and cupcakes. Lafayette’s Chamber Singers will perform a one-hour vocal jazz show with a live jazz trio. - Spring Fest: Take a quick vacation on the Quad at Lafcot! Inspired by Disney’s Epcot for this year’s theme, Spring Fest will be hosted by Lafayette Activities Forum. 4-7 p.m. Fri., May 8 • Quad • MORE
- Art Jam: Celebrate the last day of classes at Art Jam. Attendees can work on any type of creative project or hang out at the Art House for a good time. 7-9 p.m. Fri., May 8 • 641 Parsons St. • MORE
