5 things to do this week: EarthFest, Pie‑a‑Phi, LEGO Bingo and more

Campus spring events include EarthFest on the Quad, a pie-throwing fundraiser, a string quartet concert, LEGO Bingo, and a men's lacrosse rivalry game.

As the weather becomes springlike, life seems to be coming back to campus with trees budding and the Quad packed with picnic blankets and spikeball. This week; campus is busy with exciting events, including EarthFest and Pie-a-Phi. Check out these fun activities happening in the upcoming week! 

  1. EarthFest: Celebrate this year’s Earth Day on the Quad with LaFarm and Sustainability. Several organizations will host a wide array of activities including raffles, demonstrations, music, food, and more to spread environmental education and awareness. 3-6 p.m. Wed., April 22 • Quad • MORE
  2. Isidore String Quartet: Take a midweek break to enjoy a performance from Isidore String Quartet. The group will play selections celebrating collaboration in art, aimed to inspire the audience. 7:30 p.m. Wed., April 22 • Williams Center for the Arts • MORE
  3. Pie-a-Phi: Come out on the Quad for the chance to throw a pie at a member of Pi Beta Phi, Phi Sigma Chi, or Chi Phi. Funds raised from the event will be given to the philanthropic fund Read > Lead > Achieve. 3:30-5:30 p.m. Fri., April 24 • Outside of Skillman Library • MORE
