$500 'Pay it Here' fraud reported at CVS in Lower Makefield
Complainant was told by someone claiming to be from their bank to send $500 through a CVS "Pay it Here" service.
On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at about 5:00 p.m., Lower Makefield Township police received a fraud report from the 500 block of W. Trenton Ave at the CVS. The complainant said they were contacted by someone claiming to be from their bank who said the account was compromised and instructed them to send $500 through the store's "Pay it Here" service. The report was handled by the Lower Makefield Township Police Department.
