The Central Bucks Regional Police Department, joined by the Pennsylvania State Police and Doylestown Township Police, conducted a coordinated speed enforcement detail along Route 611 and the Route 202 bypasses after a recent stop for a vehicle traveling 114 mph in a 55-mph zone. Officers issued 58 citations for speeds between 75 and 92 mph and cited several motorists for failing to move over under Pennsylvania’s 2020 Move Over Law. Police urged drivers to obey posted speed limits, move over for emergency personnel, avoid distractions, wear seatbelts and adjust speed for conditions.
