On June 25, 2026, at about 1:02 a.m., East Cocalico Township officers stopped a vehicle on SR0222 after observing no illuminated rear lights. The driver, 31-year-old Aaron Springer, was found impaired and a breath test indicated a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.146%. He was issued a summons to appear in District Court on charges of driving under the influence and a required-lighting violation.
