Abdul‑Aziz Aliyy McCallum arrested in cooking oil theft; charged with theft and receiving stolen property
Forks Township police say surveillance showed a white Home Depot van approach a container of cooking oil on Oct. 14, 2025; Abdul‑Aziz Aliyy McCallum was later identified, arrested and arraigned on July 30, 2026, and held on $10,000 bail.
On Oct. 14, 2025, Forks Township Police responded to 1700 Sullivan Trail after video showed a white Home Depot van and two men removing used cooking oil from a container. The passenger was later identified as 33‑year‑old Abdul‑Aziz Aliyy McCallum; officers stopped the van, seized it and applied for a search warrant that uncovered used cooking oil, a pipe wrench and receipts. A judge issued an arrest warrant charging McCallum with (1) Theft by Unlawful Taking (M1) and (1) Receiving Stolen Property (M1); he was arrested and arraigned on July 30, 2026, and held on $10,000 bail.
