Alexander Moreno Charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault in Lititz
Lititz man accused of threatening to kill household members and assaulting a male victim with a thrown object; arraigned and jailed pending a preliminary hearing.
Lititz Borough police filed a criminal complaint against Alexander Moreno, 23, alleging Terroristic Threats (M1) and Simple Assault/Domestic Violence (M2) after a Sept. 22, 2026 domestic incident on East Main Street. The male victim told officers he had locked himself in a bedroom because Moreno had a knife, was pushing him, throwing things and threatened to kill everyone; the victim had a bleeding facial laceration he said was caused by a large bag of cups thrown by Moreno. Moreno was taken into custody, arraigned by MDJ Stauffer and transported to Lancaster County prison; a preliminary hearing is scheduled and he is presumed innocent.
