Amber Kate Jones arrested on domestic simple assault charge

The Ephrata Police Department arrested Amber Kate Jones, 22, of Ephrata, on July 25, 2026, charging her with one count of Simple Assault (M2) related to domestic violence. Officers responded around 4:30 a.m. to the 100 block of E. Chestnut Street and say Jones assaulted a male family member, causing multiple abrasions to his neck and face; she was processed and transported to Lancaster County Prison for arraignment. Jones is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
