Argent LNG in Louisiana Approved to Export 25 Million Metric Tons Annually
The U.S. Department of Energy has authorized Louisiana-based Argent LNG to export up to 25 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas per year — about 3.54 billion cubic feet per day.
Argent LNG announced it received authorization from the U.S. Department of Energy to export as much as 25 million metric tons of LNG per year, roughly 3.54 billion cubic feet per day, to foreign countries. The approval enables the Louisiana facility to ship substantial volumes of liquefied natural gas overseas, the company said.
