Arthur Gonzalez Rivera Turns Himself In on Felony Forgery Warrant

On Monday, July 27, 2026 at 4:25 p.m., Arthur Gonzalez Rivera turned himself in and was transported by the Stroud Area Regional Police to the Monroe County Correctional Facility. The arrest fulfills a June 28, 2023 felony arrest warrant (MJ-43302-CR-0000283-2023) charging Rivera with forgery (18 § 4101(a)(3), F2) after an incident on June 22, 2023 in which a man attempted to cash fraudulent checks at NBT Bank in Stroud Township; the account holder reported Rivera stole her checkbook and wrote checks to himself totaling $4,200 (a prior $1,000 cashing was also reported). The warrant had been reposted July 31, 2025.
