Authorities Seek 28-Year-Old Esteban Villegas After Swatara Township Homicide

On June 30, 2026 at 8:46 PM, Swatara Township Police were dispatched to a homicide at the Chestnut Pointe apartment complex, 3655 Chambers Hill Road. Detectives say 28-year-old Esteban Paulino Villegas fled the scene on foot and should be considered armed and dangerous; he may be experiencing a mental health issue and was last seen wearing a white tank top, gray sweat pants and no shoes. Authorities ask that anyone who sees Villegas not approach him, call 911 immediately, or submit an anonymous tip via SwataraPolice.org.
