Back to School Traffic Safety

As students return to school, Solebury Township Police ask drivers to slow down in school zones and neighborhoods, stop for school buses with flashing red lights and the stop arm extended, and yield to pedestrians in crosswalks while watching for children walking or biking. Drivers should put phones away to avoid distracted driving and be extra alert during morning drop-off and afternoon pickup times to help keep Solebury’s children safe.
