Bangor Swears In Three New Full-Time Police Officers
Three officers were sworn in at the July 13, 2026 Borough Council meeting, including two former part-time officers who completed Civil Service testing and a new academy graduate.
At the Borough Council meeting on July 13, 2026, the Borough of Bangor and the Bangor Police Department officially swore in three full-time officers. Officers Hess and Pinsker, previously part-time, completed the Civil Service testing process and began full-time duty, while Jorge Yepez joined the department after graduating from the Allentown Police Academy. The department welcomed the new officers and anticipates their service to the community.
