On June 29, 2026, at about 8:38 p.m., Forks Township officers responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Greenleaf Street after a caller reported a male with a bat and possible drug use. Officers contacted 33-year-old Barry Edward Reinert Jr.; they say he was no longer in possession of the bat and was not under the influence. Reinert Jr. was issued a non-traffic citation for (1 count) Harassment - Subject Other to Physical Contact (S).
