Batavia Police: Back-to-School Safety Reminders

The Batavia Police Department reminds the community to prioritize safety as children head back to school. Students are encouraged to stay aware, avoid phone distractions, use crosswalks, walk with a buddy and report suspicious activity. Parents should review safety rules, set clear pick-up/drop-off routines and stay involved, while drivers must slow down in school zones, obey limits and avoid distractions.
