Between June 26 and July 7, 2026, the Batavia Police Department arrested and charged several local residents with offenses ranging from burglary and criminal contempt to possession of controlled substances, harassment, trespass and traffic-related violations. Some subjects were arraigned in CAP or Batavia City Court; others received appearance tickets and were released. Incidents highlighted include an alleged order-of-protection violation, reported possession of cocaine during arrests and an allegation of child endangerment.
