Belvidere junior Ferriera wins two events at H/W/S track meet
After rehabbing a knee injury with two months of bike cross-training, Ferriera returned in November and finished as a two-event winner at the H/W/S meet.
Alexandra Ferriera didn’t get a chance to show what she could do running in cross country.,
“I was hurt almost all fall,” she said. “I had a knee injury and was cross-training on a bike for two months. I only started coming back in November. All the time I was on the bike I was talking about getting healthy and getting back to racing again with my school teammates and my club (Garden State Track Club) teammates.”
