Bensalem Police Launch Bensalem Secure, Publish Weekly Retail Theft Arrest Lists
New partnership aims to curb retail theft; police will publish weekly lists of people arrested or identified in related cases.
The Bensalem Township Police Department, in partnership with the Bensalem Township Economic Development Corporation and local business owners, has launched Bensalem Secure, a program to reduce retail theft in the township. The department says it has a zero-tolerance policy for retail theft and will post a weekly list of people arrested or identified in related cases. The notice adds that all persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
