The Bensalem Township Police Department has launched Bensalem Secure in partnership with the Bensalem Township Economic Development Corporation and local business owners as a multifaceted effort to reduce retail theft. The department says it will post a weekly list of people arrested or identified for retail theft and related charges and maintains a zero-tolerance policy for these crimes. All persons on the list are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
