Luis Angel Lopez Jr., 37, of Spring Township, was arrested by U.S. Marshals and charged with numerous counts including robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and possessing a prohibited firearm in connection with an armed burglary on June 28 in Warwick Township. Police say Lopez and 18‑year‑old co-defendant Hector Luis Martinez Jr. held occupants at gunpoint, pistol‑whipped a man, forced a couple to drive Lopez to a Berks County address and fled after removing items from the home; witnesses reported Lopez fired a handgun during a police pursuit. Investigators identified Lopez from a social media photo and phone records linking him to Martinez; he remains in Northampton County Prison awaiting arraignment and is being held on a Berks County parole detainer.
