Luis Angel Lopez Jr., 37, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and faces multiple charges including robbery, burglary, kidnapping and possessing a prohibited firearm for his alleged role in a June 28 armed burglary where he pistol‑whipped a man and two 14‑year‑olds were held at gunpoint. An 18‑year‑old co‑defendant, Hector Luis Martinez Jr., is separately charged; investigators say Lopez was masked, demanded the victim’s safe and cash, fired a handgun while fleeing, and later forced a couple at gunpoint to drive him to a Berks County address. Lopez — prohibited from possessing firearms because of prior felony convictions — remains jailed awaiting arraignment; authorities identified him via a social media photo and phone records linking him to Martinez.
