Luis Angel Lopez Jr., 37, was arrested in Northampton County and charged with multiple counts including robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault and possessing a prohibited firearm after a June 28 armed burglary in Warwick Township. Investigators say Lopez and 18-year-old co-defendant Hector Luis Martinez Jr. held victims at gunpoint—two 14‑year‑olds and a couple—Lopez pistol‑whipped the homeowner, fired a handgun as he fled, and later forced a couple to drive him near his Berks County residence. Lopez was identified via a social media photo and phone records; he remains in Northampton County Prison awaiting arraignment and is held on a Berks County parole detainer, while Martinez faces separate charges.
