Beware of Wreck Chasers

The Pennsylvania Insurance Fraud Prevention Authority evaluates and addresses insurance fraud across the Commonwealth and provides grants to law enforcement to investigate and prosecute fraud cases. The IFPA also promotes consumer awareness through public education campaigns and is funded solely by annual insurance-fraud assessments paid by insurance carriers, according to the Lower Swatara Township Police Department.
