Body recovered in Barnegat Bay after man jumps from bridge
The first of two men who jumped from the J. Stanley Tunney Bridge into Barnegat Bay was recovered Tuesday; another man who later jumped was rescued Monday.
The body of the first of two men to jump off a bridge into Barnegat Bay in Ocean County, New Jersey, on Monday afternoon was recovered Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The man jumped off the J. Stanley Tunney Bridge, which carries westbound Route 37 from Seaside Heights to Toms River, shortly before 2:30 p.m., the East Dover Fire Co. said.
