Bradford man arrested after baby stroller taken from front porch

City of Bradford Police arrested 38-year-old Matthew Haas on July 21 following an investigation into a June 5 theft. He is accused of allegedly taking a baby stroller valued at $450 from the front porch of a residence at 59 Jefferson Street and faces CC 3921 A THEFT (M2) and CC 3925 RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY charges. Magistrate Richard Luther arraigned Haas and remanded him to McKean County Jail on $10,000 straight cash bail; preliminary hearings have been scheduled. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
