Bradford man arrested on bench warrant; meth possession charge added
Dennis Arthur Allen, 60, was arrested Sept. 12 in Bradford on an outstanding theft-related bench warrant; officers say a search turned up methamphetamine and he faces an added drug charge.
City of Bradford police located Dennis Arthur Allen, 60, near the Elm Street bridge on Sept. 12, 2026, and arrested him on an outstanding warrant tied to a Dec. 24, 2025, theft at the Best Western. A search incident to arrest allegedly produced a small plastic bag that field-tested positive for methamphetamine; Allen was charged with possession and remanded to McKean County Jail with bail set at $500. He also faces earlier charges filed July 2, 2026 — including conspiracy to commit retail theft (third-degree felony), conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking (first-degree misdemeanor) and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief — and the bench warrant will serve as a detainer while hearings are scheduled.
