Bradford man charged after hit-and-run, allegedly threatened group with shotgun
A man is accused of fleeing a crash and later brandishing a shotgun at a group of pedestrians in Bradford, according to police.
On September 13, 2026, police say a silver Jeep driven by Parker Michael Gorrell struck an occupied Mazda CX-9 on Mechanic Street and fled. Hours later officers found Gorrell on South Kendall Avenue after witnesses reported he had exited a disabled Jeep, retrieved a Mossberg 20-gauge shotgun and cycled the action while approaching a group, causing them to fear they would be shot. He was arrested, found with an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and charged with terroristic threats and multiple other counts; Magistrate David Engman remanded him to McKean County Jail on $250,000 straight cash bail. The charges are allegations and Gorrell is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
