Bradford man charged after hit-and-run and armed incident
A Bradford man faces multiple charges after an alleged hit-and-run and a separate armed confrontation in which witnesses say he brandished a shotgun, prompting his arrest and $250,000 straight cash bail.
On September 13, 2026, officers responded to a reported hit-and-run in Bradford where a silver Jeep allegedly struck an occupied Mazda CX-9 and fled; the Jeep’s operator was later identified as Parker Michael Gorrell. At about 3:52 a.m., police found Gorrell on South Kendall Avenue after witnesses reported a man in the roadway with a firearm; a 20-gauge shotgun was located and witnesses say he cycled the action, causing them to fear being shot. Gorrell is charged with terroristic threats and 14 additional counts including recklessly endangering another, public drunkenness, and failure to stop and render aid; Magistrate David Engman arraigned him and remanded him to McKean County Jail on $250,000 straight cash bail.
