Bradford woman sentenced for cocaine distribution, financial crime
Justina Ames received 13–26 months in state prison and one year of consecutive supervision after convictions for felony drug and related financial crimes.
At a July 16 sentencing in McKean County, Bradford resident Justina Ames was given 13 to 26 months in state prison and one year of consecutive supervision after convictions for Dealing in Unlawful Proceeds (Felony 1), Possession with Intent to Deliver cocaine, and Conspiracy to Deliver cocaine. Authorities say Ames conspired with two others to sell cocaine on three occasions between Dec. 30, 2025 and Jan. 20, 2026 and conducted a financial transaction intended to promote unlawful activity; she was ordered to pay restitution, lab fees and other conditions. District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg‑Shaffer said her office and the McKean County Drug Task Force pursue financial crimes tied to drug sales to remove the profit motive and urged the public to report illegal drug activity to Chief County Detective Ryan Yingling at (814) 887-3312 or McKeanDA.org.
