Brandon Stambaugh charged with endangering welfare of a child
Mechanicsburg police say they located a found juvenile under age 6 with autism after tracing the child to a residence where Brandon Stambaugh was asleep; charges were filed and a warrant obtained.
On July 7, 2026, at about 7:55 p.m., Mechanicsburg police responded to Memorial Park for a found juvenile and traced the child to a residence on the 100 block of N York St. Officers located Brandon Stambaugh, 43, asleep inside and identified him as the individual responsible; the juvenile was autistic and under age 6. Charges of endangering the welfare of children were filed, a warrant obtained (MJ-09305-CR-0000154-2026; MBG-202607-0233), and a court date set for July 24, 2026.
