On June 9, 2026, at about 7:24 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check at the Giant parking lot, 301 Town Center Boulevard, and found 43-year-old Brittany Marie Davis slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle. Officers detected a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech; Davis admitted to consuming alcohol in the car for several hours. She was taken to a hospital for a legal blood draw that returned a .285% BAC and was charged by criminal complaint with one count of driving under the influence—general impairment (M), one count of driving under the influence of alcohol—highest rate/2nd offense (M1), and one count of restrictions on alcoholic beverages (S).
