On June 9, 2026, at about 7:24 p.m., Forks Township officers responded to the Giant parking lot at 301 Town Center Boulevard for a welfare check and found 43-year-old Brittany Marie Davis slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle. Officers smelled alcohol and observed slurred speech; Davis admitted to drinking in the vehicle for several hours and was taken to a hospital for a legal blood draw that returned a BAC of 0.285%. She was charged by criminal complaint with one count of driving under the influence—general impairment, one count of driving under the influence of alcohol/highest rate—2nd offense (M1), and one count of restrictions on alcoholic beverages.
