District Attorney Joe Khan announced a comprehensive reorganization of the Bucks County Detective Division and formally swore in Chief of Detectives Jack Slattery, Deputy Chief Bob Gorman and four detective lieutenants at a ceremony at the Bucks County Justice Center. Judge Matt Weintraub administered the oaths; the new squad-based structure assigns lieutenants to specialized units (narcotics/firearms/human trafficking; special victims/missing persons/homicides; economic crimes; special investigations) to clarify command and improve collaboration. Deputy Chief Gorman will directly supervise Squad 4 (evidence and ballistics) and assist the division through a state accreditation process before his retirement in January.
