Budd, Trump Speak for Persecuted Christians
On the same day President Trump criticized the U.N. for not speaking up, Sen. Ted Budd took the Senate floor to call out China’s treatment of Christians.
President Donald Trump publicly accused the United Nations of remaining silent on the persecution of Christians. At the same time, North Carolina Sen. Ted Budd used the Senate floor to denounce China’s actions against Christians, both speaking on behalf of persecuted believers in different arenas.
