Carlton R. Woods, 56, was arrested at about 1:20 a.m. on July 4, 2026, in Reservoir Square, Poughkeepsie. He faces charges including DWI: two previous convictions of designated offenses within 10 years; operating a motor vehicle with .08% or more blood alcohol with two prior convictions within 10 years; aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree; and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The case is being handled by the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office.
