Catherine ‘Cathie’ M. Breisch (1935 – 2026)
Catherine “Cathie” M. Breisch, 91, formerly of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, at Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. Born in Lower Saucon Township on June 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Paul D. and Mary E. (Yeager) Breisch. She was co-owner of the former Driftwood Drive-In, Coopersburg. Cathie worked at Perkins Restaurant in Allentown for 25 years and was also previously employed by the former Bethlehem Steel Company.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by nieces: Sally Schray, Denise Beatty, Donna Schoenberger, Kathleen Eichler, Lois Schroeder, Debbie Beckowski; nephew: Barry Fricker. She was predeceased by her siblings: Paul, Harlan, Leonore Fricker and Irene A. Heller; nephews: Robert and Michael Breisch; great niece: Kaitlin Fricker.
SERVICES
Family and friends are invited to call from 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, 2026, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 5 p.m. A funeral repast will be held at the Carriage House at Heintzelman’s immediately following the service. Interment will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
