Cato Fashions to close 120 stores
Value-focused women's retailer Cato Fashions announced it will close 120 underperforming stores and open 10 new locations.
Known for its value clothing and options for women of all sizes, Cato Fashions has been a popular women’s brand since 1946 with more than 1,000 stores in shopping centers across 31 states. In September, the chain announced it is closing 120 “underperforming” stores, while opening 10 new ones, according to an article by USA Today.
