Celebrate Safely This Independence Day in Bensalem Township

Bensalem Township reminds residents that fireworks are prohibited on Township-owned property such as parks, playgrounds, streets and other public areas. Consumer fireworks may be used only in accordance with Pennsylvania law — with the private property owner’s permission and a required 150-foot setback from occupied structures — and local police and firefighters will be actively enforcing laws and ordinances throughout the holiday weekend. The Department of Public Safety encourages everyone to celebrate responsibly to keep the holiday safe and enjoyable.
