Central Pa. under a freeze watch Tuesday
National Weather Service issues a freeze watch for parts of central Pennsylvania early Tuesday; farmers urged to protect sensitive vegetation.
A freeze watch was released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 12:33 p.m. valid for Tuesday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Southern Centre, Southern Clinton and Southern Lycoming as well as Cambria, Blair and Somerset counties.
The weather service states, "Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Freezing temperatures could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation."
