Chambersburg PD Swears In Officers Farris, Horst and Wenger
Three cadets completed MPOETC training, earned ACT 120 certification, and were sworn in by Mayor Hock; they begin field training with experienced officers.
The Chambersburg Police Department introduced its three newest officers — Farris, Horst and Wenger — after a unanimous Borough Council vote last December. From January through June 2026 the cadets completed required training and passed the MPOETC certification exam to earn ACT 120; they were sworn in this morning by Mayor Hock in front of family and friends and now begin field training with experienced officers.
